Founded in 1991, AAA Propane Service, Inc. is locally owned and operated by the Simpson Family. We live and work in the same community as our customers. We believe in serving our community.
Fred Simpson started the company in 1991 after retiring from the House Moving industry. It was a project he shared with his son JR and partner Ford Scott. In 1993, Debbie and John Simpson joined the AAA team.
In 1994, the Oxnard plant opened. Its mounded propane tank system gives the Oxnard storage facility a storage capacity of 60,000 gallons; the largest in the area. The additional storage enables us to provide our customers with uninterrupted service.
In 1998 as Fred took a step back, Robert joined the family business.
Today, Fred’s three sons manage the company together. You may find them delivering your propane, setting your tank or answering the phone. They’ve been taught to get the job done. In a period of mergers and acquisitions it’s nice to know your phone call will be personally answered to ensure your needs are satisfied as quickly as possible. Propane is the same. AAA’s premium service sets us apart from our competition.
From its small beginnings in a storefront office in Santa Paula to Ventura County’s largest storage facility, the growth over the years has been amazing. We now serve Ventura County, Southern Santa Barbara County and Northern Los Angeles.
